Hey friends I keep unusual hours, it's part of having to deal with back pain! Anyways I was up last night around 1 or 2am and CT was not working! Now my other forum isn't working http://www.numissociety.com/
Are numismatic haters at it again? Anyone else notice anything?

ah yep.. I am a late nighter too... While this forum was down I was using a proxy and ran into a forum where there was talk of how to shut a forum down from some previous banned members.. Most of these boards have layer upon layer of protection so I think it is unlikely, but it was/is a weird timely coincidence.

I am not sure what was my local time when it was 1-2AM in US, but yesterday this forum did not load at all for a couple of times. Many times it loaded only after hitting "Refresh" button, and then it worked fine.

My guess would be problems with the hosting company, not hackers.

    :hail: Good Morning!

:eek:dd: I promise I didn't mess with CT , but I had an engineer working on ours until WAY late in the night/early morning fixing a few things with the arcade and adding a new skin. :thumb: I did it late at night so I didn't disrupt too many people, but I might have interrupted your browsing since you're a night owl. :p

We (should-fingers crossed) be up and running now and it looks like Peter is up too, so all is good in the coin world this morning. :high5:

Pain keeps me up about 20 hours a day too. lol When I surfed other sites I saw everyone was up and running with the exception of CT. I thought it was a "server down" situation. Other coin sites I glanced at were fine. Didn't think it was a hacking problem. Besides, who could hate MONEY ! That's sick man, really sick. lol

In that case, you owe us nightowls breakfast at an establishment of our choice. How about Little Tavern on M Street in Georgetown at 3AM?

FG's Mom, thanks for the explanation. Thought maybe a server crashed when the site vaporized, afternoon our time.

Not certain what time zone Somewhere South of Disorder is in, however, we were still surfing the waves while many of you had folded-up your outdoor activities and were inside surfing the net. FYI, I gave up a surfboard for a keyboard [pun intended] many, many, many years ago.

For my fellow ailment afflicted brothers, I highly recommend a time-tested Greco-Roman therapy derived from the fermented grape. Several glasses, while browsing the day's posting on this sight, helps greatly in easing the situation.

I used to eat oxycontin like candy (prescribed) got off that stuff after the stuffed animals started talking to me, now I take Tramadol...a drug that I can cope with and the stuffed animals keep to them selves.

I must have been out of pocket when CT went off the air, glad it's back in all it's glory.

    Happy Collecting

For future reference if you should ever be unable to access CoinTalk.com and you fear you may start getting the DT's and you really just wanna get well, You can always visit www.cointalk.org and at least look at the pretty menus :)

East Coast of Florida, St Augustine Beach. Surf is nothing like HI, but it beats nothing.

Although the fermented grape has many fine attributes as does the distilled corn from Tennessee, I prefer that which is derived from the Agave in Mexico. Large sips, followed by a chilled German brew seems to greatly clarify and put things into proper perspective.
