Thats nice, Though i have to ask what that classifys as because i cant see that being called a double die.
I have one just like your die crack only I think the crack goes across the head of Lincoln. It's somewhere buried in the boxes ...lol It was one of my first finds too.
Mines quite litterally my first find in the error coin catagory. I found it in circulation along with a really good wheat penny. Actually i think ill go post that and ask value of it.
You should search bank boxes then. Go to your bank and ask for a 25 dollar box of pennies. Then redeem them at a coin redemption machine. My bank has it's own redemption machine and there is no charge like most places who charge like 9 cents per dollar counted.
lol to be honest. i actually went to the bank with 100.00 and said "i want this all in pennys" I am currently searching through 3,000 pennys as i post and talk XDDD
1930-P Filled "0" I find lots of BIE's and filled "9" and "5" on the Wheats I search , but this is the 1st 1930 I have found with a filled numeral.
That's the first one I've ever seen too. I have a bunch of the other ones you mentioned too. One actually has another B inbetween the B and the I in Liberty. Cool find there Kang.
This is 1 of the coolest multi-error cents I have found This one has the: "Cracked Skull Lincoln" "Doubled Liberty" "Cuds on both Wheats" "Die Crack on Right Wheat"
( is that a Hemi voice ) Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! That I in liberty sort of looks like the I's on '55 PMDD's
1909 vdb Last night when I was in here and taking pictures of some of my errors I discovered if I reverse the focus on my USM M-Scope I can get like 10x's the power. This in mind, I figured, why not go back and check some of my more worthy examples of 1909's. I bought this 1909 VDB off a guy on eBay for 30 bucks. 1909 VDB Matte Proofs usually have a cescent shaped die mark between the right wheat stalk tip and the M in Unum. This coin was wiped around that exact location and was obviously checked for that which I knew and didn't mind as per the cost. However, I believe the guy who sold it to me might have not checked thoroughly or my eyes are deceiving me. I just discovered this with the extra magnification on the USB. Here's one that sold on Heritage. This is a pic of one sold on Heritage.
2009 Error Here's another one to look for in the 2009 series. I thought I saw this one on coppercoins but I just checked and it's not there yet.
Hello. While searching through pennies I came across a lincoln mem. penny with no obverse. It has a back and a rim(cupped out). The inside has concentric circles. Has anyone ever seen or heard of this?
Yes, someone on this site has seen this before because I remember reading about it here a few months ago. Try doing a search in this form and see what you can find. I will do the same. I found it: http://www.cointalk.com/t29107/#post282681 http://www.cointalk.com/attachments/21628d1191382413-blank-back-coin-2b.jpg
2005 lincoln Look at the bottom pic, the spots in red are all flat. I found this error today..I dont know what to make of it? Feel free to comment on this pic.
Found a common lamination error, but my first--soooo its exciting for me. I also found a nickel with rainbow. I don't think the pic does it justice. You see, my camera was made in 510 B.C. with 2.1 megapixel.
