    1987 Conundrum

Here's one I posted before and it didn't get past the experts. It really doesn't make much sense if you follow the rim line along the radius above the motto. It also has a strange outside edge. Oh, and it weighs 2.5 grams.

Nice pics--Prospector... Im wondering what the experts had to say about it? It look like coins I find while metal detecting?

Yeah, I'm still waiting to find a 1958 Lincoln Cent with a Memorial Reverse. and a 1959 Wheat Reverse. LOL.

Here's a 1961 D that looks like it's a triple Die, including the Mint Mark.

Here's another one they said was a Post Mint Damage but didn't know how. I always thought it was pretty cool and looks like a letter or number was pressed into it.

Yeah, I think I called it the Ex-Wife Variety. EW-001 cause it is Tore Up from the Neck Up.

I tell you what is really cool about hunting errors. You may accumulate thousands
of coins and think you have all the errors known just to find out you don't and you get
to go back through them all and re-research them and find you had ones that you either
didn't know you had or is something new. ( if you held onto everything )

This is my first error coin. What I love about it is that its pronounced and I have not heard about one going clear through a word and into a letter of another word. Anywho take a look and tell me what you think. I would like to know more about it.

it's something I would keep. that has to be a mint error.

I be leave it to be a die crack. where the die they punched it with actually cracked and caused that line. a coin dealer i took it too offered me 10 bucks for it. I feel it to be a rather unique penny due to just exactly where it cracked or filled wrong. whatever the case i feel it to be very interesting.

-edit- -> I still have the coin i just wanted to know more about it when i took it to the dealer.

Here's the kind of Mint Errors you need a Microscope for, it's a 1968 S/S and without a microscope it's very hard to see.

I have about 50 of these I kept cause they were in excellent condition and until I bought a USB Microscope didn't know they were RPM's.
