Hello, I have had these coins for quite some time and am now possibly looking to unload them and was curious if anyone could give me a understandably rough estimate on value. I will preface this by saying that if you see any brownish tinge on the coins it is just the glare from the camera and these coins are in very good condition. York County 1936 Half Dollar- 1936 Columbia South Carolina Sesquicentennial Half Dollar- 1874 $1 TY III- Bridgeport Centennial Half Dollar Commemorative- 1888 $1 TY III- 1914 Indian 2.5 Dollar- Thank you all very much for your time.
Welcome! Nice little collection you have there! Just a little advice.... get them out of those 2X2's. The staples are rusting which is an indication of improper storage (too much humidity). Also there is staining evident on the card itself in one of the pics. It would be a shame to loose the value on the coins when for a few cents you could keep them safe from contamination. One other thing...Never clean your coins! As for values, a few of the other collectors should be popping by to help you out.
Air-tites are popular with a lot of the collectors: http://www.air-tites.com/air-tite_coin_supplies.htm
For most common coins, 2x2s are a reasonable storage method, but the staples should always be flattened, to avoid scratching other coins in the collection.
