    Very interesting article. The CPG does not show the doubling as wide spread as this.

    No, not my coin, but the article caught my eye because I recently purchased an 1853 Arrows and Rays seated half dollar (a design I've always liked), my first Liberty Seated coin.

    I agree it is FS-50-1865-301, and a very nice RPD. I think sometimes it is confusing to newer collectors to use "double date" rather than repunched dates on these, as many see double date and think doubled die, which this isn't of course. The use of Logotypes to place the date on the dies led to many RPDs.
