I have no problem with 18 year olds drinking beer because I did and I was also in the military where it was legal (on base). When I went home on leave in Arkansas all I had to do was show a military ID to get served, no questions ask. Most teens are partying anyhow, just think of the casualty rate if these teens could buy booze anyplace anytime...

Love the Stone Mountain Half. My favorite commemorative coin besides the 2010 Disabled Veterans Dollar. That one is pretty nice to have been found in a roll!!! Cool find!

Mine is one of the coins I have from the dumbest series ever made. So dumb you should go melt all of them you own.:nerd:

If you understood what I posted you would have figured out that I wasn't playing sheriff to the thread (unlike you), but instead pointing out the conflict of statements coinmaster1 made by agreeing to stay on topic. Now get back to your lust for melting Roosevelt dimes, freak!

Hamman88- when I read your avatar's caption "spare some change, sir?" , it makes me think of a scruffy homeless dude sitting on the sidewalk with a bubble caption above his head like in comic strips. Instead of the typical "brother can you spare a dime" he says "brother can you spare a 1916-d Mercury dime if AU condition?"

You never did make much sense with that reference.

    Leadfoot there is no spoon

Mine doesn't "mean" anything. It's just the reverse of one of the coins I own...one of my favorites.

Do/did you have any affiliation with NIPSCO? I know the utility I retired from in Michigan used Reddy in advertising a long time ago.

Don't be so sure, because no one can hear you laugh in cyber-space, freak... You have to use devices such as: "LOL" and smiley icons ":smile" for that.

Yeah, I have an affiliation with NIPSCO. I pay monthly dues to them.:p

I came to this area in 1974 when I was 16. I think NIPSCO used Reddy. I remember seeing coloring books with Reddy Kilowatt.
