So I was checking today some of the quarters I bought a short while back on Ebay. A lot of 40 SLQs and noticed today that one of them had what looked like a faint #1 at the end of the date. I am hoping someone can tell if it is indeed a 1921 SLQ, possible grade and is it even worth sending to get graded

By the way i only paid like $120 for the roll of quarters

Looks like it. The date on this specific coin design was changed in 1925 so it was higher relief and lower into the coin, thus it was stronger than pre-1925. If it was a 1931, then the coin itself would have no details at all, and a 1911 didn't exist, so yes, I would definitely go with a 1921.

Just a note here, there are no 1931 Quarters, Standing or otherwise. If you see a 1, it's a 1921. And this coin is definitely a 1921.

    certainly no details at all-----

in fact it would be invisible, since none were struck.

and, to answer: yes it is a 1921!

I got one just like in years ago in junk silver, from a dealer.

    ;)

    congrats.

No 1931 was made!! 1921 is the only date that it could be if it's a 1.

I am glad that it is, and that I am getting new glasses so I could see it too.

    Fantastic find !
