I got a token from Ecuador. My scanner is acting funny, but pics won't really help, there's no design. It's uniface. Seems to be zinc. Quite large, 39mm. On the face that does say something, it says "Deposito de Hielo Guayaquil" with "un Sucre" in the center. No image of any kind on it. I don't speak Spanish, but this seems to translate as "Freeze a 1 Sucre Deposit"? Anyone?
Rulau lists a 20 Cents but no 1 Sucre. 30mm, no date, aluminum, $6 in VF. Deposito de hielo= Ice Storehouse. Guayaquil is a city in Ecuador.
Thanks, though mine looks like it is zinc, it felt suspiciously light. Must be aluminum. Someday I've got to get a Rulau.
Guess it was a good one, it sold on ebay for over $20. Not bad considering what I paid for it (pretty much nothing) and my level of interest in it (none at all).
