  3. Elaine: Do you think Taylor or Fillmore or both will surpass Tyler in mintage (uncirculated)? TC

i think jane pierce and margaret taylor will be the key to watch. both can beat julie tyler for the lowest mintage title.

We have yet to see the lowest mintages yet. There will be lower.

I'm guessing Pierce will be the lowest through 2010. Will Buchanan sell out at 15K? I'll try my best to help it! With 5K less, it has a better chance than Lincoln, IMAO.

I believe Julia Tyler is the lowest this year by looking at the numbers.

Taylor still has more than 3 months before sold out.

yes. right now are julie tyler, margaret taylor and jane pierce fighting for the lowest mintage. it looks like taylor is catching up. and might become out of the race.

Wow, was flirting with the idea of maybe selling off my Liberty subset so I decided to check and see what they have been going for. I figured they'd be going for around melt, maybe a little bit more.
In just looking at the Greysheet the bid/ask are as follows:

    Jefferson Unc $600/$620
    Jefferson Proof $600/$620
    Jackson Unc $875/$915
    Jackson Proof $875/$915
    Van Buren Unc $875/$915
    Van Buren Proof $825/$865

So, it looks like the Jeffersons are priced right at melt prices, but I was a bit surprised at such high prices on the Jackson and Van Buren, especially since I thought the Greysheet had been pretty low on the First Spouse coins in the past couple of years... are these prices accurate??? Could I really get $4650-$4850 for my current 6 coin unc and proof set of Liberty gold?????????????

Edited to add a pic of these awesome coins:

    lowest recent eBay results:
raw Jackson unc. sold on 8/13 for $891 (15 bids)
raw Van Buren unc. sold on 8/6 for $865 (9 bids)

I agree that they're awesome coins. Can't wait for Sept 2nd!

hmmm, if the Buchanan Liberty mintage is as low as some of the recent spouse coins, maybe the Liberty subset is something I should consider hanging onto for awhile!

2011 four designs were terrible. see 2011 mintages continue to fall. julie tyler will collapse then.

I don't think you'll find a Julia PCGS MS70 First Strike for sale by then. the Beauty is in the money, that's what makes Jackie Robinson a beautiful coin.
