Weight of 1828 half dollar

    Weight of 1838 half dollar

    I just bought a nice 1838 half dollar on Ebay for my type set. I weighed it on my cocaine scale, and it weigh's 0.46. Is that the right weight? Thanks

    I went to edit my post. Went to, go advanced. changed my heading to 1838, but it didn't change???

    Ed it should be 13.48 grams
    I did the conversion you must have it as oz where as the it would weigh .455 oz so if you had it on oz then it would be the proper weight
