I found this '69 Kennedy in a roll the other day and it blew me away when I found it. It was so shiny that I almost skipped over it assuming it was a newer coin. To the naked eye, it looks flawless. Under magnification there are some scratches across the face, but that is about it. The reverse is perfect with no dings or scratches anywhere. I realize it probably isn't necessarily worth sending it in. But, it is by far the nicest coin I have found in a roll and I am just curious as to what you seasoned veterans think...
I'm still trying to figure out all the crazy macro settings on my camera. The ones in the first post as well as these are as good as I can get (when zoomed in).
This is exactly what I was thinking, but didn't want to post it up first because I wanted to see if anyone came to that conclusion on their own as well. Only problem is, it weighs 11.5 grams.
Gotcha and thanks. It does have tons of luster all over, though. Crappy camera just flat out refuses to let me take a decent pic of the coin.
Polished. The highlighting around the devices and lettering are the giveaway along with the mirror-like appearance....Mike
