    Came across two of these today; the picture below is the nicer of the two..Any thoughts on price? I also noticed something going on with the "3" in the date any ideas?

    I picked a really nice one up not to long ago for $15. Yours looks to have had a cleaning as is evident by the crud still stuck in the devices. Of all the classic commems this one is probably the most common.

    I've heard of them very very rarely being found while half-dollar roll searching. Very common, but a cool piece nonetheless.

    Common coins. I have seen a dealer offering them for .50 above melt.

    I have a few well circulated ones that I bought for less than melt.
