Picked up a few new coins this past week and thought I would share. Anyone else get anything new of interest? Variety or otherwise?

    SEGS 1969-S/S RPM-002 PR67
    SEGS 1955-D/D RPM-004 MS64
    SEGS 1972-S/S RPM-001 PR68
    SEGS 1944-P/P RPM-014 MS64
    SEGS 1944-P DDR-002 MS64
    SEGS 1945-D DDR-005 MS64
    SEGS 1944-S DDR-002 MS66
    SEGS 1947 DDO-001 MS64
    SEGS 1946-S/S MS64
    SEGS 1942-D DDR-001 VF30 (This is a toughie)
    SEGS 1963 DDR-012 PR67
    SEGS 1957 DDR-002 PR66

There's a 46-S DDO on ebay right now in EF I'm keeping an eye on. The last, and only Gem example, that I saw on ebay was offered by Jon Sullivan and the auction ended earlier. I think he made a private transaction and I was a bit dissapointed that I did not have a chnace to get in on it. That is a super scarce die and very rare in Gem. I believe his opening bid price was right around the $400 mark.

As I was entering these coins into my list today I realized that there is no attributed 1955-D/D RPM-4 nickel in the CONECA files. I guess I will have to send it in for attribution unless SEGS mistakenly attributed it as a WEXLER RPM or perhaps the wrong die altogether (although it does not appear to match any other RPMs from CONECA for that date/mint).

Has anyone else run into wrong attributions on slabs before? This is the second wrong attribution I have come across from SEGS (but that's out of about 200 slabs I have verified).

    Jason,

The only time I've seen a mis-attributed label is when I get back a submission hoping for a 5FS/6FS and don't get it! :D

Forgot to ask! Did you get the 46-S DDO?

LOL Dave, I hate it when that happens! No I never did get the 46-S. Pretty much out of my reach for right now as I am remodeling my house to appease FHA so that coin will have to wait.

I did however pick up a decent 38 DOubled Monticello in about AU but it ended up having a reverse staple scratch. Not too sure what I'm going to do with yet quite yet as I am bidding on Hoots 38 he has on eBay. If I win his I will just sell off this other one...

Well, I lost out by 3 measly dollars on Hoots 38 DDR. Guess I will have to keep looking. I have held out on the key varieties for the series until last since I know they will always be around...

Hoot always has some nice Jeffersons! I have bookmarked his Ebay store. Congrats on the varieties!
