    I bought 14 Susan B's for $15, so they are $1.07 each.
I got to looking at them and found: (3) 1979-P "Narrow Rim" and (9) 1979-P "Wide Rim" and (3) 1979-D's (Whup d do!;) )
Are the Wide Rims worth anything over face? They are in probably AU condition.
    Thanks,
    SM

I don't know...I find them at the Post office and have kept some of them but mostly just spend them....I think its in the MS grades that they get the value.

  4. I'd hold on to them. IMO anything listed as a variety has potential.
So far I have only found 1.

Wide rims sell for between $5-$10 dollars on Ebay.

Check your math - 3+9+3= 15 not 14 - looks like you bought them at face value

    Thanks,

    You said you bought -
    79P narrow rim 3
    79P wide rim 9
    79D 3
    thats 15 coins
You also said you paid $15.00
Isn't that $1.oo per coin? = Face Value

    Sorry for the mis-understanding, I typed it in wrong. I have 2 - 1979-D's instead of 3.
    Problem Solved! :)
    Thanks for the links!

Living in NYC I get SBA's in change all day long....between the USPS and the MTA. I haven't seen anything noteworthy so I just spend them.

Just go to a bank and ask for those things. Most banks will be glad to get rid of them and mast are brand new, hot off the presses. Around here no one wants them.
