This is a Mercury Dime, is this a doubled eye?

Next is a Washington 25c I found in circulation about 8 years ago, it has always made me wonder because of how many areas of the coin are like this. What is it?

Speedy, which coin would you like more photos of? I tried last night for the first time to put the lens of my sony w7 onto my microscope, and that was the result. just using the camera alone I cant get in close enough to get high detail, so if you let me know the areas to photo I will post them.

Both of the coins...sometimes its easyer to tell what it is when you can see the whole coin and not just the part that looks doubled...

Here are the pix, the 25c has a ton of the same errors as the eagle head. Right now I am very distracted by my Morgan though. Please let me know any additional pix you need.

On the proof Franklin...there isn't anything really....a proof is struck twice and sometimes shows something like that....at times it would be called machine doubline but I think more than that its just where it is struck twice.

Thanks Speedy, what do you think caused the Bold multi-strike appearance of the 64 quarter?

Thanks Bonedigger, I found that with my Sony W7 flush on my microscope, does not touch the lens. So now I am in High gear with any and all Coins I have had questions about. Hopefuly I can make some money or Have something of value to leave my Daughter.

I don't know much about quarters...if it is a proof I would say it might be the same thing.....

That is the question, is it normal, offset, multi-strike, I dont know. And why such a luster with no evidence of cameo at all? I am very happy with this coin, although I do not trust who graded it.

If there are any Quarter experts out there..... HELP!!!!!!!!!
