Ugliest GSA Dollar EVER :)~

    Here is the Ugliest GSA CC dollar I've ever seen, LOL. 1884-CC GSA.

    That is an example of why a lot of people prefer AU-58's to MS-60's.

    Are those heavy bag marks, scratches, corrosion or just a mix of nastiness??

    Just Heavy Bag Marks. I think it was face down on the bottom if you know what I mean.

    Its not too bad....a better date is a better date.
    Also since its still in the GSA holder that makes it worth more....everyday people are cracking out the coins from the holders...

    No, mine is a GSA. Blue Richard Nixon box and serial #'d paper, just a MS-60/61.

    He posted that link with the question mind of whether or not someone else with an empty GSA box & COA had placed a raw CC dollar into the empty box and sold it. It's certainly possible.

    But I have seen a great many GSA dollars and it is not uncommon to find them that badly marked.
