Well, birthday was a couple days ago. Some birthdays are hit or miss with coin gifts. This year was a definate hit. I got the 2009 mint set from the parents (couple disappointing coins, but overall not too bad). Grandpa, as usual, surprised me with a couple awesome coins. He said these were the very last of his lot from collector's past, but somehow he always has "last of the lot" surprises. This birthday: 3 Morgans and a couple other dollars. I will openly admit that Morgans (along with Large Cents and a couple other series) are ones that sort of scare me. There are so many varieties, different mint marks, and let's not forget the whole toning issue that generally accompanies them. However, with this gift I can certainly see the appeal in collecting them. So, here they are. Enjoy and sorry in advance for whatever mistakes you guys see in my photography.

Let's see how well I can capture toning:

Congrats and happy birthday...nothing to be afraid of with Morgans.....they are one of the most popular and collected series on the planet. once I got hooked on them many years ago...I just can't stop buying them...

I won't post any here as I want folks to come in and appreciate the coins your posting and remember how getting coins for birthday's can make you feel :)
