Guys, I have this $1 bill that I've held onto for over 10 years, due to the fact that, the signature of Lawrence Summers almost goes into the number 12 on the lower right hand corner of the bil, and I have never seen a Series 1999 $1 bill or any denomination with the Secretary of the Treasury's signanture so close to one of the numbers on the bill. I even showed it to another collector who works at a local 7 Eleven, and he also told me I should hang onto it. He took all of his $1 bills out of his cash drawer, and we could not find another Series 1999 $1 bill to compare it to, but I have compared it before, but that was about 10 years ago, as I have said. This bill just stood out to me with that signature though.

Sorry I can't post any pictures, but could this be an error note of any value?

Oh, and the serial number is L19996648T and the district is L, and the four corner numbers are 12s.

Sounds like the third printing is slightly misaligned and I do not think there is much of a premium for this type of error. Sorry. Pictures would help to verify this but based on your description I believe this to be the case. You clould always try to sell it on ebay - things there tend to get crazy...

Good Luck - hope this helps.
