This one is graded by NGC as you can see by the nifty edge view holder. Now lets see what you guys think. I will say right up front that i do not agree with the grade assigned, and i did not submit this one personally. Also the coin looks just like the pics in hand.

Hard to see the luster in the pictures - so a 65.

I picked this one up at auction for $20. After really looking hard at the pics i decided that somebody at NGC must have been having a bad day. After looking at the coin in hand i still do not think it deserved a details grade. That nick on the reverse around three o'clock is very light, almost just a break in the luster. Perhaps at one point somebody got careless with a stapler putting this coin in a 2x2. I plan on cracking it out for my type set. These are the kind of coins you can get burned on when buying raw.

I cannot make out all the particulars from your pix. What is just shy of the rim at 3:30 and on the head just NW of the eye?

Northwest of the eye i see nothing. that little ding at 3:30 is so slight and not at all deep. It just seems to break the luster.

Here is what I am talking about. Also, there appears to be something right on his rear starting at the tail.

I am at work right now, but isn't that area around the horn, and the beginning of the tail one of the highest points on the reverse? This is one of those coins you just have to wonder about what goes on at the tpg,s. I have seen some absolute crap coins in holders, and some nice stuff get body bagged. I think for 20 bucks this coin was a steal. Its gonna look great in my 20th century type. The coin it is replacing is a 37d buffalo that i cracked out of a 64 holder and this one looks MUCH nicer.
