Well I'm moving up to my college in about a week and so I'm trying to clear up stuff I don't want, including some coins. These are free of charge... I'd rather give them to someone who'd enjoy them, rather than to throw them in a box with other stuff that would probably never be found again. If you only want one or two things that's fine, but I'd rather not ship more than 2-3 envelopes. Yes, very random / kind of worthless coins, but they're free and as I recall the old saying "one man's junk is another man's treasure", although in this case it will probably be another man's junk as well Coins: 1. 1941 Mercury Dime (I received it with that random drilled hole but I guess you can put it on your key chain or a necklace?) 2. 1956 D Wheat Penny *Claimed* 3. Truman Copper inaugural Coins x 2 (one still in original plastic) 4. Muai Trade Dollar Coins x 4 (1998-2001) *2000 Claimed* Well that's them. I used to be a part of a basketball card collecting forum back when I still collected them around 6-7 years ago and we used to help each other out by trading or just sending cards we didn't need and knew someone else would probably like, so hopefully this post isn't too weird. First come first serve, so tell me what you want and I'll message you and you can let me know what addy to send to. PLEASE reply on here first before pm'ing me that way if you see someone asking for the coin/s know that it's claimed. Good-day and here are some pics:
ill take mercury & maui coin if you still have em. Why do people make holes on coins? they make necklaces or something?
Derekg: you want just one maui coin or the other 3 that are left? And as for the hole, yeah I'm guessing that's probably the case. I actually had it on my old keychain for a while but it doesn't fit on my newer one.
Sorry all coins are now claimed. If I stumble across anything else I'll be sure to post it here first! Thanks.
A Very Considerate Gesture! Your thoughtfulness/consideration/efforts are appreciated. I trust the recipients will also advance same to others in the future. My wish for you is that your efforts will be multiplied and rewarded to you in your future. :thumb:
if you still have a truman and maui, i would be honored to have them in my collection! thanks either way.. you are very generous. edit nvm, i missed the last post! still very nice of you..
imrich: thanks man but it's honestly nothing big. If couple dollars in shipping helps someone collection or makes some even slightly happy then I'm stoked Panda: sorry man :/ all the late nighters like myself swept pretty fast.
