I have this 1961 Franklin Half Dollar PROOF (Doubled Die Reverse?) and I want to know if its worth sending to the NGC to be graded.

I don't even know if the doubling counts as a real double die.

(sorry for the error in the title: double instead of doubled)

    Thanks for the help!

If it's not the biggie....which it appears it isn't then I agree it doesn't add value to have it graded.....but I grade everything anyway lol

The example shown is the minor variety and not the "Big Daddy" of the 1961 doubled die reverse. It is also referred to as DDR-004
Let me get this straight in my head, you have a proof that resembles the Franklin reverse shown?

    Happy Collecting
