The first is an 1803 un decime (French dime) minted at Metz. In that condition value is minimal. I believe the second is a British gaming token, aka a jeton.
He is right on the first piece, the second piece is a 1773 Virginia halfpenny. You'll find it listed in the Redbook under the colonial issues. Virginia was the only colony that had the right to produced coins listed in their charter. They had the halfpenny pieces made in Birmingham England but they arrived here just about the time the Revolutionary War was breaking out so they were stored away for a few years and didn't realy start circulating until the 1780's. To a large extent they stopped circulating during the copper panic of 1790.
