Just received a 1977a E series * note in change at a gas station, pretty decent condition for the age.

My third uncut sheet just arrived. This one, a $1 32-note sheet (2009), came from the BEP. No errors, no fancy numbers just a nice uncut sheet.

The Fr# 91 engraving back plate error is one of my favorite errors on this Note series...
    Nice pick up.

Why not try to scan the notes with a piece of "black" paper taped to the lid of your scanner, it will enhance the edges of the notes border and separate it.

Also try to get the Fr 91 non-error..it makes a nice set.

    Clayirving...

I haven't picked up any new notes recently but I did take advantage of a discount running (expires 8/10) on the Krause web site. I just received my copy of The Early Paper Money of America, 5th Edition by Eric Newman. I've been wanting to acquire this title just for the read alone. I have no such notes and I'm not sure if I even aspire to get into that realm of paper money right now. It looks to be a great reference book with many color plates and plenty of written details about the notes. :smile
