Bought an USB Microscope

Billyray, did this one come with the 0.5 auxiliary lens that snaps over the front lens? Some do provide one ( it is made of plastic and must have cost all of .25, but it does help reduce the magnification by half.

It came with a dust cover that was already scratched lol. I can try it and see what the results are.

 

Read the thread on polishing slabs if it is really a 0.5 lens. Many think it is a dust cover as the directions don't translate well. But it may be a dust cover You can tell just by using it like a magnifier, but the objects would be half size normal.

Sometimes a plastic cover is just a plastic cover...sorry, no reduction.

 

No reduction and very bad glare from the LEDs lol
