Ok, after trying to image some RDV-005s I'm not sure anymore. It does look like it has a crossbar though. I never could get a sharply struck RDV-005, which is maybe why they changed lol. #1 crossbar, #2 Point, rare one has them, common one doesn't
For me the easiest way to tell the difference is like this. Notice on the '88 reverse the top loop of the G is even with the right edge of the letter and on the '89 it stops short. Once you look at enough of them it's easy to see the difference.:smile
