Well as many of you know, I love the roll searching. This morning, the bank called to let us know that they got a handful of half dollar rolls in. So of course we jumped in the car and raced to the bank. Well the rolls were marked with the customers name and phone number. After looking through a handful of rolls, one produced this coin. The original customer was called. She was very happy that we had contacted her. She did not know what else to do with her coins. Now she gets more than face value.
thats awesome nd. even better that you contacted the original customer. that to me shows tons of integrity...
I will second that as well! It's good to know there is a coin dealer out there as honorable as you, National Dealer. You are a credit to the hobby and your profession!
Thank you one and all. For all the good that money can buy, the most important it will not. Health, friends, and honesty.
Not to mention A SEATED HALF in a ROLL! How often does the uninitiated person holding something like that show up for you, ND? I can't imagine that it happens that often, and all the more exhilirating when it does. Last, but not least, class act there, ND.
This is the first seated half that I have found in a roll. Many Franklins, and even a few Walkers from time to time. Sometimes we as dealers get too caught up in making money. I have been guilty of this myself. Every so often, we learn (usually the hard way) that money isn't as important if we must sell our integrity or reputation.
