I have read in other threads that some folks get all of their key-date coins in a particular collection graded & I am assuming that means slabbed. Well if you have 10 slabbed coins and all the rest are raw , do you slab all the rest yourself and place tem in a Slabbed Coin Album like one of these: http://www.jpscorner.com/Eagle_Slab_Certified_Coin_Proof_Mint_Set_Albums.htm or do you have a better way of keeping your collection together when it consists of slabbed and raw coins ?
I will use my Lincoln cent set as an example of how I handle such a situation. My set is mostly raw and XF or better. The raw coins are kept in an Intercept Shield album. Any coin that catalogs more than several hundred dollars is slabbed and kept in an Eagle Certified Coin album. This also allows me to have a place for varieties that the normal raw coin albums don't make room for. I have no problem with the fact that the set is split into separate locations. I have other sets that are handled in the same manner.
