Anyone point them out? this is the first coin out of an original roll ive had for years. Is it a S over S or a repunched MM? Value ?
whats a retained Cud? the R in liberty? Thanks What do you think it would grade? better in the original roll or sold seperate?
From wiki: "retained cuds, in which the broken piece of the die is depressed but still intact. In this case the coin retains some detail within the retained cud." For best value, wait for a few of the other member's opinions.
I see the retained cud on the reverse, a die chip in the top of the R of LIBERTY. The doubling on the 4 and the S is die deterioration/wear.
