The SEG Guidelines for Presentations

We can indeed do such a thing. I have begun to collect copy and images that have been posted for archiving each presentation as a PDF and Rick thought we might be able to post these on the Group page. Anywhere that all members can have digital access to these presentations in a file format, not just laid out in threads, but as documents would be a huge benefit for future reference or even individual offline use and sharing.

I have also been kicking around a related idea... Once the presentations have been archived in a common template form, available as a PDF, we might be able to set up a system through blurb or a similar self publishing print resource to make booklets of articles and presentations available for members, proceeds can be redirected to offset various costs or by making sending them as SEG group donation funds to Peter for CT is so voted for.

This is just an idea and first amongst this is the work I am doing to archive and preserve the wonderful Presentation work that has come before...

Keep the ideas rolling in... this is really enlivening and bonding our group! :smile

The year can easily be incorporated into the logo or near the logo, especially on printed items. Personally, I'd opt for a unchanged logo but to pair the design up with the date when needed as it allows for the most broad use of the logo without having to create and keep track of multiple versions for each new item we need to use it on, or to recreate the logo just to add the year each year.
