I received this note and it's in better conditon than I thought it would be. The scan makes it look a little grimy but in hand it's not like that at all. I'm very happy with it. What do you think of it?
I guess it saw a bit of circulation and I'm surprised that it lasted that long getting around in transactions. I think its quite nice!
This is the only one I've seen with four. I'm sure there are others around but I haven't come across them at all. Given that, I expected to pay a lot more than I did and was pleasantly surprised at getting it so low.
Dang, that thing looks like a Mad Magazine Fold In! Wow, I'm surprised I even remember those fold-in's, but it's the first thing I thought of when I saw that! Very cool note!
The note was folded before being printed, and survived the various printings without being unfolded. It probably entered circulation appearing "normal", and only revealed its condition in circulation. It's a very cool note, very much worth keeping.
The note may also have been folded during printing, in the paper feed, but before ink was applied to the paper. Once pressure was applied to the paper to print the note it remained creased until noticed or being straightening once in circulation.
