The loop looks like a gouge in to the coin, where something sharp has struck it. Nice die crack though.
Very cool die crack. Ive seen people sell these as '$' nickels since it resembles a dollar sign. Appears to be a very minor RPM or mechanical doubling?
In regards to war nickels. RPMs are very common; Coneca recognizes hundreds of different RPMs throughout the war nickel years. Regardless it is a pretty sweet nickel!
