    The grades are in!

1955 PCGS AU50 Doubled Die Obverse
1955 PCGS MS63BN Doubled Die Obverse
1955 PCGS Genuine Doubled Die Obverse (this is the upper left -reddish coin from the photos)

At least they are not fake. : )

What code did they indicate ( like .93) on the Genuine one? But How nice to get a MS63!

    92

I thought it would have been a 91, questionable color.

Well cleaned isn't the worst of things. Most would be happy to have one, and you have 3 :)

All I know Its about 55 years of collecting and I'm going out on a limb. all three are the 1955 Double dies, Your father knew.

They look G, VG and F to me from the reverses. The obverses definitely look a grade better on each. If any of these are AU, I'm REALLY going to reevaluate my circulated wheat hoard.

If you are talking about the three 55 D/D's, they certified MS-63, AU-50, and authentic but cleaned. See post #23 and then start re-evaluating.

I thought I would *bump* this thread back up for those to see who have joined CT in recent years. I cannot believe it's going on 5 years since I posted about my deceased father's collection.

The collection is still in tact. I've only sold a few rolls of Roosevelt dimes to cover the cost of grading. Much of the best gold and unusual coins have now been graded.
There is still a stack of $20 Gold not graded, which I don't expect would get above a MS 61 -62.
