I had to vote RAW because I enjoy the initial encounter of a keeper~coin. Some of my finds would just get the album gritty.

I usually use 2x2s and Air-Tite Holders. I guess the OP forgot about Air Tites, one of the best along with Intercept, IMO. I also have some coins that were graded by PCGS, NGC, ANACS and even a couple by ICG -- of the TPG holders some are in different generations of slabs so there's some generalizing going on if you select that choice in the poll. Overall, this is not about deciding about a 'favorite' as much as it is picking the right tool for the job and the right holder for the best protection for your collection.
I use envelopes and cotton inserts for my Large Cents. It's been done that way for a very long time in that community. Mint sets are what they are. Packaged as the Mint saw fit for that particular product. 2x2s and flips are for silver or gold. My last casket (Slab) is on consignment now.
