I would always choose the ANA. Coin submissions is just an aside, it is the knowledge that you really want. Also, the ANA works hard for the hobby. I am a member of ANS, and ONS, but if you promise to join the ANA Hull I promise I will too!
I'm loving my ANA membership. Got 3rd in one of the YN essay contests, free digital CoinWorld issues, and I love The Numismatist magazine.
I like coinworld but I am 15 so I don't need a lot of the discount/promos... I just want to submit to NGC and plus I could use the 5 gradings with the 2nd tier level.
I'm still debating joining the ANA. I have one more year before I turn 22 so I believe that'd be a discount, and potentially worth it!!
Well at age 15 so will still benefit from the education from the magazine, besides the NGC benefits. Knowledge equals money and increased satisfaction in coin collecting. Buying books and good magazine subscriptions is the best money you can spend in the hobby.
You should do the ANA. Then apply for a scholarship for the SummerSeminar!! That would give you a huge education and you'd get your moneys worth for sure
i just turned 22 in may, wish i would have known i could have got a discount!! i have to look into it more before i decide. congrats on joining to the op though!!
Oh Panda I think you either just missed or it's your last chance at getting a YN scholarship from ANA for the Summer Session. Check into it before it's too late Hopefully I'll see you there.
