what was the first coin you submitted for grading?

For the record.. My very first coin submitted to Grading Company happen on March 2000 in Baltimore Coin Show. The helper who slabbed my coin ask Mr. Alan Hager If he could slabbed it on the Dime Holder instead of Penny Holder. Mr. Alan Hager of Accugrade, answer back firmly. No. just get the penny holder and slabbed it.

I dont know if it qualifies, was at a show submited 3 ngc coins for 'designation review.' I got 2 back with 'star' designation a 1938 D Jefferson NGC 66 * and a 1943 P Jefferson ms 67 *.

 

I have never submitted a coin fro grading and would not pay anything above what the coin retails at. If they are high dollar coins, I pass.

 

I have never had a coin graded and have only bought one that was graded. I only bought that one because I couldn't find that coin outside of a graded holder.

 

Mine was a 1999 Wide A M. red. Upon much urging I submmitted it and it came back MS65. When the time
is right I'll sell it because I have another one. zeke

 

I found two different varieties of the 2009 P Lincoln Cent Thumb Error I may send in too. They seem to bring a premium value so far.
