Today, at a garage sale, in my change, I received a series 2006 dollar bill with the serial number 84444092A. The bill itself is in very nice condition. There's a crease across George, and a couple of dings at the top, but otherwise, it's near uncirculated. I assume that it isn't worth all that much, if anything at all. I'm just curious if it would be something worth holding on to, or if it's worth anything other than face value.
Here is one that I have kept but it too probably really isn't worth much over face.. I'm glad I stumbled on this thread because upon a closer look I noticed the top left corner is rounded, not from wear but it looks like it was either miscut or someone did it themselves, it's not a tear totally a clean cut. Kind of weird.
I don't think there are quite enough 4's. I just gave my brother a $5 that had 5-8s in the SN for "Liars Poker" that he likes to play in the pub.
Yup, a spender. I'm no expert, but that SN looks to me to be somewhat interesting, I suppose, but interesting enough to really be worth hanging onto. It reminds me of a bill I had with the SN "21500420". "A possible birthday note?", I thought to myself, for the date April 20, 2150. Then I thought that was probably reaching a bit, since that date is 140 years in the future. Hehe.
