That coins' price is almost as big of a joke as the seller is... My most valuable coin? Probably the very high AU or MS (I'm not sure...) 1922 Swiss 2 franc. Getting sent of for slabbing shortly! I actually need to start a thread with questions about that... Most valuable US coin? Hmm... Good question! By realized value, I'd say my 1883 CC. Sentimental value? My first, beat up Morgan. Potential value? My business-strike 1962 DDR Roosie.
Well I just got a '23-CC morgan silver dollar from my grandma! It's in good condition but she also gave me millions of other coins... I have to go through them... I'll let you know.
Morgans weren't minted in 1923 (or 1823, if that's what was meant). Sounds like a Chinese fake, unfortunately.
Not sure actually. Either my VF 1803 dollar, or my Antony and Cleopatra silver I would guess, depending on the sale or market that day. I have been buying coins for so long its hard to keep up with market prices of past purchases versus new purchases. My favorite coin is a lowly VG at best, but its an Ostrogothic Roma Invicta with wolf and twins I got in a batch lot for $.80 a piece. Its maybe worth $300 but I will be buried with it! Doesn't matter, I never sell coins so my heirs can worry about which ones are most valuable. Edit: Sorry, forgot this is US coins, so probably my 1803 dollar. I do have a really nice 1795 cent but I don't think its worth as much as the dollar.
Yes. I took my next two highest priced coins to acquire it and was still worth every cent. (I almost said Penny and had visions of Majorbigtime swooping in)
I guess you're right. If you've seen a "1909-D indian wheat cent" it would have to be the only one. So if you've seen it -you have seen them all. Hahahahahahahahahah P.S. -Hahahahahahahahah P.P.S. Hahahahahahahaha
It would fit right in with my 2021-Z Washington Buffalo quarter penny half dime that the Smithsonian keeps calling me about. They would be a great start to a nice TYPE set.
