This is really sad but this is mine.......its worth its weight in silver maybe the xtra weight from the verdigris will grab a few more cents
LOL Let me kind of fill you in. There are lots of people on here that have very valuable coins. Coins that some of us would die to own. But they are also very protective of there coins and dont plan on sharing that info. Your last two threads just seem kind of sketchy. Do you know that most people in coin clubs use alias's? I personally know a guy that lost about $250000 worth of coins right before his eyes. so yea I realize that this is all voluntary but the last two questions have struck a nerve with quite a few I gaurantee
My Avatar Now on E-BAY with over 2000 view and 19 offer. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110552228585&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
The most valuable coin in my collection is whichever coin get's me to the total amount owed for my coffee in the morning
Since I've already made multiple threads about this coin, it wouldn't do any good to try to hide it's existence. It's priceless, but if you want to make me an outrageous offer, I'd listen.
my most valuable coin is a 1901-S $20 gold coin. i got a 1901 S mm set of the $5, $10, and $20 gold. the second or 4th most valuable is my raw S-VDB, probably high ms, mid ms at the worst. i really need to get all 4 of them graded! i only have pictures of the $10 gold, because they are all at my safety deposit box. if they were at my house, i probably wouldn't have said anything. though it would be fun if me and the dogs were home and someone broke in! i would grab the AR, but i just got a new AK and haven't shot it yet. thats if being greeted by two pit bulls who hate strangers don't scare them away. get past these two, first dog is my friends, but the dog has to live with me for reasons beyond our control. its a puppy picture! this dog is huge, 100lbs! my dog guarding the outside. pictures of me and my guns are not necessary, but here is the one coin i got at my house thats worth much of anything.
Yes your coin is unique in that it is the only one exactly like it, but "every coin" is unique in that respect. Double denominations are far from unique though. I admit that you don't see one everyday, but I've seen a bunch over the years on ebay. WHY 12 million???????????????
My highest ticket US coin is one that my father left in his collection, an 1895-s Morgan silver dollar, why his ex-wife did not sell it is beyond me, except he had just kept it in a baby food jar. So she probably did not realize it had more worth. Sorry No Pictures, it currently resides in my safe deposit box.
You know, if someone decides to play with you and buy it, you're going to get one heck of a huge bill from eBay for the final value fee. I think for FV fees that large Ebay takes it immediately from your account. LOL
