How many coins are in your collection? Please only include coins that you plan on keeping. Coins that are a part of your personal collection that you wish to hold on to for the rest of your life (or upgrade.) Feel free to include notes and world coins.
I have boxes of foreign and sacks of wheat cents that are uncounted. Plus buckets of "coins" that I pull out of the till at work. My actual sorted collection is probably over 5,000 coins. Mostly wheats and Canadian cents. As for banknotes, I would guess about 1,000. The majority of the collection is in SDB's so I'm just guessing.
And I should publicize my assets why? This same poll was conducted at least once before, and I consider the question invasive as much now as I did before.
I'm going to say 101-250 without actually counting. Majority are world coins, although world coins aren't my expertise, and probably never will be. At the moment the only thing I'm really buying are my French Sowers, I plan to buy around 100 more World Coins, just for the heck of it as well.
:-/ Thats your opinion, but no need to contaminate the poll (unless you really do only have 1-10 coins...in which case nevermind.)
I think I have somewhere around 700 coins...not sure been too lazy to count them all. Half the collection is from world coin lots sold on eBay. It is a fun way to learn about coinage history of other countries!
Dime, I hope you're wearing a contamination suit. We wouldn't want to see you mess up this scientific study. Chris
If you count Wheaties, north of 1k, but well, well under 5k. Probably around 1,500. Without 'em, around 500, obviously.
