Album recommendations for PCGS and NGC graded coins.

I'm looking for suggestions for albums that will hold slabbed (PCGS and NGC) coins. I'd imagine a page could hold 3 across and 3 down. Is there anything out there for this?

Sweet! I looked for Eagle brand albums but didn't see these. Thanks.

I highly recommend lighthouse grande albums as their pages are more resilient than the eagle album pages.

I'm not familiar with Lighthouse pages, but I can guarantee you that the Eagle pages will fall apart if you find that you have to move slabs around to make room for additions or take them out for photos. The crosspiece of plastic holding the slab in place can crack and the same goes for the three-ring binder holes. I used to use them, but I found they weren't worth the added expense. Besides that, if you use ordinary three-ring binders, just the weight of the slab pages when full can cause the holes to crack. It was a problem for me even when I resorted to the added expense of buying zippered portfolios to house the pages. The pages and the zippered portfolios are not cheap, and I found them to be a complete waste of money.

Now, I just use the NGC or PCGS plastic storage boxes, and I even use the slotted shipping boxes that NGC uses to mail slabs to the customer. Both types of boxes are much easier to store, are stackable and take up much less space than the binders or portfolios. You can store about 240 slabs in the same space that about 135 slabs in binders would need. The other advantage is that you can move slabs around with ease to make room for others and take them out for photos at any time with much less hassle.

I believe Littleton also has certified coin albums.
But as I recall they are smaller; only 6 coins per page rather than the 9 on Eagle pages.

I use the Eagle album mostly because that was all that was available when I started.
    I don't recommend the 5-page version; it's a bit of a handful.
Stick with the 3- or 4-page versions.

I'm with Chris on this. The plastic storage boxes from NGC and PCGS are easy to use and space efficient, now the downside is you have to open the box and lift out the slabs to view the coin. A notebook of slabs on a shelf is more convienient but not too good for security. Just a thought.

Yeah, but if you had a race to see who could pull out the most slabs to examine under a loupe and put them back in place, the person with the storage boxes would win hands down.

Yea I suppose, but I'd have to access a safe, etc. Don't know the OP's situation.
