U.S. Marines vs Brazil

My great grandfather received this from the president of Brazil after beating them in a baseball game during their 100th year of independence celebration.

Very,very kool indeed! Welcome and congratulations on possessing such a keepsake from your long-gone ancestor. Thanks very much for sharing the photos. We so often think in terms of dollar value on this site that it is refreshing to to enjoy something that simply cannot be appreciated in such terms.
This is really a stunningly well-rendered medal and the more I look at it the better I like it. I wish every one of our Marines were playing ball, and things like this were the upshot.

I think US Marines vs anybody is a mismatch. I put my money on the Marines every time !
