While I am really crazy about "Numeral Notes" I thought I would add this guy to the Series 1928 Numeral set I have going as well...

For the District Currency Collectors Group, if this is your District, look at like this, you will always know where one is at, when you need it...:D :D

Thanks guy's...if anyone is interested I know where the "Sister Note" is with D00000373A, however, it is in a PCGS 63PPQ holder. This note was just too attractive (SN wise) to let it pass.

Let me know if you would like to consider it and I will PM the location to you.

Fun I suppose... that Series 1928 D00000374A was obvious that someone saved them for many years...

This is new to me. What is the significance of the numeral rather than using a letter?

The numeral was only used in the 1928 series Federal Reserve notes, it was changed to the letter for the 1934 series. They are just unique, and you know how much us collectors love unique things :)

Actually.. Series 1928 and 1928A support the Numerals (denominations from $5, $10 and $20$) (only Series 1928 have Numerals on the $50 and $100).. Starting with Series 1928B it switches over to the letters on the lower denoms..the $50 and $100 start with the letters on Series 1928A.
Numerals in high grade up to gem command significant premiums... the fewer printed the more they cost like the 28A Dallas note and several others.
Make me happy I am doing the NY District. When I fing nice SN's like this one I tend to pick them up as well.
