I am just curious is there any doubleing on the reverse? I understand it's offcenter but could it be an off center ddr?
It's not the biggie. The EPU isn't doubled like the biggie. http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/coop49/1983P-1DR-001.jpg
Thanks Coop, can a coin be off center and still have a ddo or ddr and be considered to have multiple errors and if so how would one classify it?
I've always wondered, since these off centered coins are so malformed, how do they ever find their way into circulation? It doesn't seem like it would fit into your average corporate shotgun roll.
A variety can happen if the die was a variety and off center. But the catch is: Who would want both on the same coin. Usually variety collectors want great examples and an error could care less if it were a variety. So it may be a coin that neither may desire to own.
