not that anyone cares, but i'm excited about this...

after months of searching for a spink catalogue, i finally found one at one of the local b&m shops! (the 2010 edition for $50, which is less than i've found it online) if you're interested in english/british coins, i more than highly recommend it. the information about the coins is awesome, and the details about varities and mintmarks has made this purchase more than worth it for me personally. i've spent about 15 minutes reading it and have doubled my knowledge (pass it on) about english coins.

anyway, just thought i would share this with you guys.

Yes they are very nice books. One aspect of literature coin collectors overlook frequently is nice catalogs. While usually not inclusive, the level of scholarship is frequently up there with books. I have the 1993 CNG sale of Shore's Parthian that I use as a primary source for Parthians. I have the Shore book and Sellwood, but like using the catalog usually, (plus Sellwood's damn font drives me nuts).
