Check out this batch of coins up for auction. There is no description except "coins and paper money". There is only this one picture. There are 2 sheets of coins underneath the bills.
After examining it very closely, I believe the walking liberty may be a 1921. It is definetly 19*1. The canadian is a 1946, which is a semi key date. 4 morgans are 1921. I cannot tell what the 18** half dollar is or the peace and other morgans. The Barber quarter is 1906. There are 8 standing liberty quarters.
Would any of you put an absentee bid on what you see here? If so, would you just bid what you can see in silver weight?

Well, I wouldn't go that far, Doug. I'd be willing to bid face value if the seller has free shipping.

I'm not one to take risks, better safe than sorry, and you play with the fire you are going to get burned, BUT why not just put in a reasonable bid if he has a return policy? Go with what you see in silver, and maybe add a few bucks depending on what the bid is if you really want the item.

You could find a diamond in the rough, you could get burned.

Well I actually received the full list from the auction house. If what they tell me is accurate, then they are way off on their estimate of what it will go for. (They estimated 200-500) I guess it warrants a trip to the viewing since there is an 1897-o Barber half and some Morgan CC's.
