My boys (8 and 10) and I were working on a set of circulated Washington quarters, and we just added the 32 D and S and completed a Littleton 1932 - 1967 book (actually took it up to 1972-D with the empty spaces on the last page). I am considering picking up one of the books from Intercept or Dansco that goes from 1932 - 1998, and includes proofs.

Which would you choose? Are there any others to look at? What about the slip covers that come with those books? Are they worth the extra?

    Thanks.

    Congrats on completing the set!

You might try the search feature on this site and see other people's opinions. Some people are neutral between Intercept Shield & Dansco, many prefer Dansco, and a few prefer Intercept. One of the thing Intercept has going for it is they come with the slip covers. With Danscos they are extra. I've used Danscos and like them. The plastic slides can be a challenge with the Danscos (Intercept has a little indention so it's easier to grab the slide).

I would say those are the two major ones to look at. I think you and your boys will be happy with either one, but my vote would be Dansco.
