Help with identifying coins?

I've had these 2 coins for a while now, and i was wondering if anyone on here knows anything about them. French im thinking?

the first coin is an english shilling that has been clipped. the legend around the coin has been completely removed, but the bust appears to be that of james i, who reigned from 1603 to 1625.

sadly, i don't recognize the second coin. :rollling:

 

The second is a Nuremburg jeton from the 17th century.
