The Morgan - low AU with an old polishing

The Walker - can't really see it well enough to tell if there is wear or not. It could be AU, could be MS.

    The ASE - probably 69.

    The Kennedy - AU.

    Morgan - AU Details
    Walker - Not sure
SAE - MS67 - I see some chatter in the reverse field
    Kennedy - AU

I don't think any of these coins would be worth grading.

I agree with the grades from Doug & Chris.

None of them are exceptional enough to spend the money it will cost you to send them in for TPG slabbing and grading. Keep them where they are.

A question on the Morgan, I was thinking EF since the cotton bolls looked fairly worn to me. Does it need to be a more "holistic" grade than just focusing on one particular area like that? Or am I just wrong about the degree of wear to that part of the design and/or its impact on the grading?

I was originally thinking low AU, but your EF assessment might be pretty close, too!

The coin really has AU details in my opinion. But the more significant factor is that it appears to have been polished many years ago. This makes it ungradeable.

With a polished, common-date, Morgan, grading between EF and AU doesn't matter a whole lot.
If we are talking uncleaned, key date example, then it is a different story.

Yeah, I thought the fact that it had been improperly cleaned or polished was a moot point since even in AU, it wouldn't be worth submitting for grading.

Thanks for the opinions, all. Just was curious, since I'm still trying to "hone" my grading.

Though there's quite a lot of scratches and bagmarks on both sides, it still has some good sharpness in the relief both sides, with little wear and is AU.
