Looks awful... but, I've certainly seen much worse than that on eBay...

IMHO, given the choice of buying coins from China or finding a rathole to throw my money into, I would probably choose the rathole.

In the first link, all the negs are from 1 dissatisfied cust. who says the same thing 5 times.

And he's somewhat off base, complaining that he paid too much for silver that turned out not to be silver. The seller advertises "Tibet Silver", which is a low-grade alloy containing barely a trace of silver - similar to the pot metal known as "German Silver".

For what it is worth, I was somewhat unhappy with a guy named mikescoins . I brought two morgan or peace dollars with decent photos and he sent 2 reallly run down peace coins. I made mildly negitve comment on this since I think fruadulent. But the cost was so low it was not worth sending the coins back. They guy became vidictive and went balistic.

I dont mess around at all with the E-bay, Ive had nightmares when I use to mess with the WW2 German items,FAKES! and misrep. pcs. Same with these coins, you dont know who your sending money to, and if you even get the stuff!!, Ill stick to dealers and collectors for my items, a lesson Ive learned well!!.
I seen a woman on some other type of E-bay sight trying to sell a G-4 liberty nickle for $200.00!!!worth maybe $2.00.....Those places arent for me!!!!!

That is a copyright infringement. Mind I, I don't support that copyright is so broadly defined and have fought against this, but it never the less remains a prosecutable violation of the law.

Weve had this discution before on the military sights,(With lawyers that are members) Every photo on the net is FAIR GAME, unless you put your name across the photo, and state it in your sight.(copy rights). Some sights , they block you from takeing the photo if they are so concerned.

I have to say for the most part the sellers I have met on Ebay are a normal nice lot of folks with one or two exceptions, for example I have just (for Fun) bought 2Lb of pennies from a guy in the US as soon as I paid I recieved a email from him saying if I was not happy with them to let him know and he would fully refund me and include enough to cover return shipping :thumb: the pennies cost $4.90 a lb!! I could not ask for a nicer response from a seller. another seller who is a member here got extreemly worried that I might feel conned because she had over charged me by a $1 or so on shipping and offerd a imediet refund :thumb: another enclosed $5 in with my coin as she had made a mistake on the coin type :) So please do not tar all Ebay sellers with the same brush because of one or two rotten apples.

    De Orc :)
