Tea Party anyone?

    I was on the bay the other night and I picked one of these up. After getting the coin my wife asked me why they didn't put Sarah Palin on the coin. Anyone know or know the history of these T-Dollars? Wasn't this coin out long before there was any Tea Party news every week? just wondering

    Well it seems to resemble the Liberty Dollar quite a lot LOL and having just done a quick check it is made by the same folks LOL

    there was just a thread about liberty dollars. it was pretty good too, it had some different kinds in silver and copper.

    Yeah I think that these were out before the Tea Party started making news on a daily basis. I bought that same 2009 Tea Party Copper round on ebay last year. Here is a picture of mine:

    They were definitely out before the Tea Party, interesting! I paid $5.50 on a BIN but the price on these is actually going up as I used to see them for as little as $2.99.

    TC, if I could have found 's thread I would have just attached my coin. I hate when that happens. :D
